HIV /AIDS ADVISOR/CONSELOR VOLUNTEER at BALIKUMBAT

The overall goal of this opportunity is to raise awareness and mobilize the population to join the fight to kick out HIV/AIDS. The North West Region is topping the list with those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS, ranking first with 8.7% with a 79% prevalence rate of ages less than 40years. 76228 people live on anti retro viral treatment in Cameroon by December 2009.   See More

TEACH ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION IN SCHOOLS at BAMENDA

February 2, 2011 at 8pm to February 1, 2012 at 4pm
Volunteers will assist field staff in teaching environmental protection and preservation. Bamenda the capital of the North West Region is experiencing urban growth and as a result people have turn to inhabit high risk zones characterized by land movements. As the town is experiencing growth sanitation conditions are poor. The few streams that run across the town have become dust bins for people to empty their waste. Garages throw their oil and houses empty their toilets in this river.See More

ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT EXPERT at BAMENDA

This opportunity is opened to volunteers who are ready to make their services availabe to build the capacity of a young organization.The volunteer will be expected to develope a long term strategic plan for the organization.identify and collaborate with CAEPA in soliciting for funding from different funding agencies.Monitor the implementation of Caepa's projects and above all creat internal partnerships.
